ArqueoTurishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00336355815218006852noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7318153573206532315.post-39830699212167404252009-06-12T15:19:00.010+00:002009-12-17T14:22:48.361+00:00Actividades / Activities:

Actividades: Visitas a sítios arqueológicos, Participação em Escavações arqueológicas, Visitas culturais e temáticas.

.

Serviços: Programas Diários, Programas semanais, Programas de fim-de-semana, Programas para Escolas, Programas de Empresas.

--------------

Activities: Visits to archaeological sites, participation in archaeological excavations, Cultural and Thematic visits.

.

Serve: Daily Programs, Weekly programs, Programs for week-end, Programs for Schools, Business Programs.

.

ArqueoTurishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00336355815218006852noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7318153573206532315.post-2733455782743614012009-05-18T18:24:00.005+00:002009-12-16T17:13:50.575+00:00No terreno / In fieldArqueoTurishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00336355815218006852noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7318153573206532315.post-23015150986869356572009-03-04T21:27:00.016+00:002009-12-16T17:25:59.224+00:00New Tour "Homo Ibericus" (Fim de semana / Weekend)

Dia 1 / Day 1 - (Inclui Pic-Nic / Includes Pic-Nic):

----------

The place where is located the Villa of S. Cucufate initiates is long and diversified history with the occupation of the place from the Final Neolithic period, having been later inhabited by a pré-roman population. The roman Villa presents itself as the classic type of property of intense exploration, exclusively guided for the market. In archaeological terms is combined with the communication routes and nearby the cities. This type of property estimates the existence of a work force about 10/12 persons of servile condition or exempts, but not connected with the proprietary. So in the middle of I century AD has been held to build a villa, with conditions and sizes still too rustic, but that it guessed already the implantation or reconstruction of a new Villa adapted to the architectural, aesthetic and functional necessities of the time, namely the II century AD, constituting one of the few examples in Iberian Peninsula Villae cum turris.
The building is abandoned during the great barbarian invasions, and only comes back to be reoccupyed, later, around X century AD, by Muslim communities. During the Christian Reconquest, in the XII century, is again abandoned by its occupants, only to return to life in the XIII century, where was established a monastery, which remains until the XVI century and whose patron saint gave the name to the building which today is S. Cucufate.
Although it was probably evacuated with the threat of collapse, the village kept its chapel, whose cult was perpetuated until the XVIII century. Monument of high value and extremely well preserved, the villa of S. III d.C. IV d.C.

----------

The archaeological set Tourega, is composed by the Roman Villa thermae, dated century III AD.

----------

One of the largest megalithic monuments of the Iberian Peninsula. As the example of the Cromeleque dos Almendres the construction of this monument was made by people who besides having great technical knowledge, also went through a period of economic and social prosperity. Another fact that gives great importance to this archaeological find is that, it was found intact which provided a remarkable collection, like the various objects of a ritual and adornment recovered.

Fontes: Diversas

.

----------

The archaeological site of the Roman villa of Pisões was accidentally discovered in 1967 during the performance of some agricultural works, immediately gave beginning to its archaeological inquiry, being classified as "Property of Public Interest" in 1970. Occupied in the Roman period between centuries I BC and IV AD.
Presents itself as a peristyle villa, with the front facing south which gave to a rectangular tank with more than 45 meters length, the natatio, it was created in a rectangular and prolongated form capsized for the exterior, instead to develop around the peristyle, with gateways and loggia in the façade. Presents more than forty rooms around the peristyle, access to the building was through a long corridor. These compartments essentially were characterized by its decorative wealth, appointedly in the called pars urbana. Due to cinegetic wealth of the region, enabling one accented agricultural, cattle and mining exploration, whose products would intend to the supplying of diverse markets, the Villa is excavated partially, over all in the corresponding area to the residence of the proprietors.
The proximity of the Pisões barrage in joint with the Villa built set, it would have as main purpose to supply with water the existing tanks, swimming pool and thermae in the property. In truth, the thermal building constitutes one of the most excellent units of private Roman thermae found in the current Portuguese territory, having been constructed in two phases, certainly in order to materialize the construction of all the inherent structures in it: apodyterium (where the visitors dipped in grease and practised physical exercises); laconicum (sauna); strigilus (where they proceeded to the scraping of the grease and the body hair); alveus of caldarium (where they took bath in a hot water tank) and, finally, the zones of tepidarium and frigidarium.

Mais informações: arqueoturis@gmail.com

Fonte: Diversas

ArqueoTurishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00336355815218006852noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7318153573206532315.post-18930831963164326902008-12-08T20:51:00.012+00:002009-05-06T11:21:50.165+00:00Condições Gerais / Terms
1.
